Giddy Sloth Coffee is part of a business venture aimed at exporting coffee beans from Costa Rica to Seattle.

Eventually, the plan is to expand the business by opening a coffee shop that offers a variety of coffee-based drinks and

traditional Costa Rican pastries in a warm, welcoming environment that fosters a sense of family.

It has been recommended to use raw materials such as polished cement, iron, and brick—materials present in the original construction—

and to complement them with handcrafted wood, durable textiles, and non-porous surfaces, given the nature of the space.

A key element in this project is the incorporation of large windows, allowing for air circulation

during the warmer months and the use of natural light on overcast days.
